The Visit...and a Bird of Paradise...

A weekend visit in warm San Diego
by klr

Lofty swaying palms
bathed by morning's golden sun
Smiles came easily

Prevailing friendships
breathed white sails o'er endless blue
 Rolling tides of time

  1. 'feed me' is the rhyme with 'need me' , :-)
What a terrific coloured flower. And the blue scenes are so soothing. I envy you the visit there.

  4. I will have to correct the rhyme sometime, hannah, and thanks for commenting. Lisa, I enhanced that pic with 'picnik' to get the bolder effect.
Laura, of the 5 pics we had of the Bird of Paradise, this one turned out the best..yours, I believe ;) And thanks for the best time..

  9. Ana, thank you! I think now is not the time for the collage but I will think about it. Congratulations on how well your blog is doing. I don't have the time to be at the computer so long so don't enter many challenges, but I still follow you;)

Mickie, I'm glad you stopped by..

  11. Bird of Paradise. I was 18 when I first saw it and was on my first trip abroad. To the Canarie islands. I liked it then. I still do. It is beautiful and it is sturdy. Nice shots.
