PEPPERMINT OIL ON MY TEMPLES

....awakening in
meadow yellow green,
lavender floral notes astound
Time sweetens memories;
my soul, rooted to the ground
Peppermint oil on
my temples
cools my mind;
love is soft, and when he
comes along, he will
taste like the poetry I
wish to write

  5. Oh I would love a taste like that... not strange that you need peppermint oil to cool your temples.

  8. Kathy, this is just gorgeous, especially the ending, but I love the serenity of the first part of the poem. I think I have peppermint essential oils somewhere--that energizes me.
