Originally, when I began this blog, I was 64 and opened

with the following lyrics from the Beatles' song:

When I get older losing my hair,

Many years from now,

Will you still be sending me a valentine

Birthday greetings bottle of wine?

If I'd been out till quarter to three,

would you lock the door,

Will you still need me, will you still feed me,

When I'm sixty-four.

Here it is 2018. This March I turn 71. It's time to revamp, weed out the worst and make a book of sorts containing the best of the blog. It consists of prose poetry and short stories; they are pieces of me that I have been able to share, with pleasure, with you...considering how energy often was channeled elsewhere, the blog has an average of 300 visitors monthly from around the world.
