Lucky penny...

dversepoets.com

In 140 characters or less, write a macro poem with a macro photo -

Shiny penny in the sand,
  glinting
 put it in my pocket,

  the sun escaped
Then wetness  met my welcoming face
rolling down my collar bone
It is March after all
and the lion roars

    1. nice pic which hits the macro,
but as much as i like the peace in the verse,
can you cut it to 140 characters so it fits the prompt
      @dverse tonight?

      please.
      smiles.

      then re-link?

    3. Oops...thank you, Brian, done...I had been writing short stories for a local submission - 100 words!! So I was thinking in terms of words instead of characters...hope this works...have no other recent macro photos to post, tho...smiles..

  2. I think it is really kind of cool how finding something like a lucky penny can work to really brighten a person's day. If we believe a penny has some power, then of course it does. Smiles.

  11. Oh, definitely smiles. The only sand I've seen lately is on the golf course (unfortunately I'm in it too often.) :0)
