A last minute posting for Flower Art Friday ...more daisies, as I posted one on Photo Art Friday yesterday; but this is an experiment which obviously shows I need more practice with textures. I just threw this together...far from looking like the other professional photos here...but I like a good critique now and then ;-)
Nice shot I would say !!!
ReplyDeleteThanks..
DeleteLovely and delicate processing on this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful daisies! So glad you shared them with Flower Art Friday!
ReplyDeleteThank you...
DeleteTo me it would have been nicer if you had erased the texture from ONE of the flowers. Drawing attention to that one. You know it is possible to do that??
ReplyDeleteThank you very much...yes, I should have done that from the beginning but by the time I had several layers on I wasn't sure how to go back to the one with the flower I wanted to erase...couldn't do it at the end..it would have been less busy...like I say lots to learn and wish I had photoshop...good tip!
DeleteBeautiful flower work!
ReplyDeleteI would say the same as NatureFootstep - but you kept it in white and green so it looks good - what kind of editing program do you use? - as you don't need photoshop to do that. You can get a cheaper program that is able to do even more than Photoshop (Believe me I have both ;) - Paint Shop Pro is a good one and I use that more than I actually use Photoshop - it is NOT the worth the money in my humple opinin - but good to have also to make a little more mixed with others - if you know what I mean. The thing is what you get out of your photos when you play with them is what you have for fun while doing them - that is the point and actually not an expensive editing program (I am a retarde.........errr.... retired photographer plus I am a web graphic designer as well - )
ReplyDeletehave a great week - I am going to visit some family so I am not on a week or so
Since picnik closed I have been using Pixler, and tried a couple of others I wasn't happy with. I understand what you are saying...I will check Paint Shop Pro and study a few tutorials before and play around more before I attempt another texture shot posting...since my blog is part photos, part writing, my time is not totally devoted to the digital art. Thanks, Mariane for your great advice!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!!! Need to learn how it's done. :)
ReplyDeleteHaphazardly I overlayed 3 different daisy photos and used the lighten and subtract adjustments to blend all together on pixler...I have a lot to learn still...thanks ;)
DeleteLove this! Beautiful processing!
ReplyDeleteThanks..I think it's the colors and light that make it interesting..yet there is room for improvement..
Deletenice..i like it much and you did a great job with the texture..beautiful
