Intergalactic

In 1999 the poetic form called a Pleiades was invented, after the constellation.  I  didn't know - it can be defined as a seven line poem with each line beginning with the same letter as the title and having six syllables in each line. The title must be of one word only.  dversepoets.com

Interspersed sparkling stars
individually
insight our most vivid
imaginations yet
Inky dark matter holds
inflated heavens weight
In truth the cosmos are
infinite in their wake

Inclinations persist
interplanetary
interactions exist
If life is recycled
in solar winds and dust,
indeed it inspires new
ideas poetic

  1. perhaps that solar wind and dust will recycle what we have, what we are into something new eh? i like that turn to more philosophical science...pretty amazing to think in terms of the cosmos size as well..reminds us how small we are...

  6. Lots to contemplate here, Kathy. I think somehow all of life is recycled! And, as Zongrik said, we are all star stuff.

  17. I love the letter "I" ... and all the fantastic "i" words in existence. So glad you chose to work with it. Great rhythm throughout, as well.

  23. You kicked some prompt butt, K.; took the time to do two stanzas. I try to be ready, checking on other time zones earlier in the day; but last week I had to email Claudia to get the scoop, so had to scramble to get one.
