Slightly blurred images float
in the amber light
Like small triumphs of the heart
ascending upright
The conclave of spirits glides,
blindly they careen
One dusty pink afternoon
wings of seraphim
Sentinels of the future,
choir of silent bells
Like fanciful waves of thoughts
heard only by angels
so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWow, did you take this photo, Kathy? Really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ana..
ReplyDeleteNo, Vicki, I took it from one of the image (photo) sites, can't be sure which one. I guess I should always give the photographer's name or reference them..is that the proper etiquette when posting?
What a wonderful picture and your title for this assignment fits it perfectly. You have a way with words in your poems also. Nanc
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nanc! I feel a bit guilty using other people's photos but some are so perfect for the purpose I have in mind. And there are millions to choose from. I'm just an amateur following the other talented artists' shirt-tails!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic and the poem!!!
