NaPoWriMo - Poem #4
THE NURSE STUMP
The nurse stump
gathers moss on one side
ferns flourish around
Sun reaches it
late afternoon, and the rain
quenches it's thirst
Refuge or nest
for some, and for others
a storage place
Once stood here
a tall beautiful cedar tree
fallen yet alive
Within its center
grow baby trees, the bluest
Forget-Me-Nots
Nice!
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to do it! I especially like the last stanza.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
