Poem as advertising... Poem #10

Poem # 10
Today we are writing a poem that is advertising...ie old Burma Shave signs. I thought about Obamacare and all the people who will benefit from it and then this....

SENTINAL HEALTH CARE
MERCY HOSPITAL

Our hearts are yours for the time you are here

For all your needs on us you can rely,

We're not just a building or place to work,

we are hands on healing, arms standing by

Whether you are waging a tough battle,

or confronting a serious disease

We're sentinel in the highest degree

Our hospital is a temple of care,

We offer you comfort if you dispair

Your health is our foremost priority

Stay well, no need for reciprocity

COMMITTED TO YOUR PEACE OF MIND

Originally, when I began this blog, I was 64 and opened

with the following lyrics from the Beatles' song:

When I get older losing my hair,

Many years from now,

Will you still be sending me a valentine

Birthday greetings bottle of wine?

If I'd been out till quarter to three,

would you lock the door,

Will you still need me, will you still feed me,

When I'm sixty-four.

Now 67, I hope to blog till I am 74 or 104.

Here it is 2018. This March I turn 71. It's time to revamp, weed out the worst and make a book of sorts containing the best of the blog. It consists of prose poetry and short stories; they are pieces of me that I have been able to share, with pleasure, with you...considering how energy often was channeled elsewhere, the blog has an average of 300 visitors monthly from around the world.
